Meet Simon Davies. Sterling Lexicon’s new client solutions director who brings over 20 years of global mobility experience to our business. Find out why Simon is passionate about building relationships and bringing integrity and professionalism to the team.


What is your background in global mobility?

2019 is my 21st year working within the mobility business. I started in Singapore as a sales and relationship manager back in 1998. I returned after three years to the UK and worked up to director level. In 2011, I took on a global role and was instrumental in setting up business in South Africa, which grew successfully at a remarkable rate. My most recent role was a sales director at UKI in Europe.


What attracted you to Sterling Lexicon?

I wanted to take on a long-term challenge. A challenge that would allow me to put my many years of client supplier experience to good effect and take the business to the next level. Cultivating new client relationships and building confidence around our brand being the two key factors. I want to be part of a winning group. I feel that Sterling Lexicon is a natural fit for my own career development and ideally placed to meet my long-term aspirations to be successful.


What will be your areas of focus here?

I will be instrumental in supporting the growth of the business, mapping out a consistent winning strategy across the region. Building relationships with key target accounts and creating a new buzz about Sterling Lexicon will be fundamental factors.


What region will you be concentrating on?

Principally, I will be supporting in Europe and the Nordics. I have enjoyed previous successes in this region and welcome the chance to reinstate former client relationships as a representative of Sterling Lexicon.


Which of our core values (teamwork, commitment, innovation, integrity, trust) do you feel you embody most?

Integrity. It is the cornerstone of many a buying decision and displaying integrity in one’s day-to-day activity embodies professionalism. When I look at corporate sales in mobility today, it has changed so much. It is often more about consulting with clients over a long period, which works well with my approach.
