Sterling Lexicon Hires Drew Phillips as Regional Director of Business Devt

Drew Phillips Head ShotSterling Lexicon, a leading provider of optimized global mobility services, announces the appointment of Drew Phillips as a regional director of business development.

Phillips has over 15 years of experience in the mobility industry, including global sales, account management and business development. Phillips will focus on marketing Sterling Lexicon’s global mobility services and driving continued growth in the key markets within the state of California.

Beginning in relocation real estate sales in the Northern California Bay Area in 2002, Phillips was named to the Top Producer list in 2004. Shortly thereafter, he received the Pinnacle award for most units sold in 2006. Phillips then turned his focus to building and managing several successful teams within the real estate industry.

After his success in real estate, Phillips moved into a new industry. In 2014, he took a role as national account manager and director of business development for global third-party service provider Pet Express, based in San Francisco. While there, he also served on the global expansion team for parent company, Jet Pets, based in Australia. In this role, Phillips had the opportunity to travel the world and analyze data to identify global trends, enabling him to suggest new markets and partners to his company. Most recently, Phillips has brought his focus back to the United States, spending his last two years as a business development manager for Crown World Mobility, based in the California Bay Area.

Phillips believes in the importance of continuing education. He keeps his real estate license in good standing, is currently studying module three for his Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation and plans to study and test for his Certified Relocation Practitioner (CRP) designation next.

“We are excited to have Drew join our team as we continue to build on our growing market momentum,” said Mark Burchell, chief commercial officer. “California is an important market for Sterling Lexicon and so we are pleased to have someone with Drew’s experience and background to support our customers.”

In his tenure in the industry, Phillips has amassed a wealth of industry knowledge and perspective from several different sectors. In doing so, he has also developed a large global network within the mobility industry that he intends to continue to grow.

Phillips is a native of the California Bay Area and lives in the heart of Silicon Valley. Given his years of experience in the region and his expertise in the local market, he is well-positioned to take on this new role in business development, serving the entire California market.
